What is WordPress and why use it?
I first heard of WordPress when I had a website built for my small business years ago. The guy who built my website told me that WordPress was the best platform (and still is) on which to build a website. Now, I build all my websites with WordPress.
It is the largest open-source framework and powers over 41% of the world’s websites. It is still, by far, the most supported and powerful framework for building websites. But, it does require hosting, FTP, a database, and some technical know-how in order to install.
WordPress is the best platform and provides the most flexibility but it can be difficult to install. In fact, even seasoned webmasters can have difficulty installing WordPress.
But…
