What is a Keyword?

First, a brief overview of keywords and why they are so important.

Keywords are ideas and topics that define what your content is about. In terms of search engine optimization (SEO), they’re the words and phrases that people enter into search engines, also called “search queries.” When people type a keyword (or keyword phrase) into a search query, they’re looking for information. Specifically, they are looking for an answer to a problem.

As a website owner and content creator, you want the keywords on your page to be relevant to what people are searching for so they have a better chance of finding your content among the results.

Why are Keywords Important?

Keywords are important because they are the linchpin between what people are searching for and the content you are providing to fill that need.

To create content that ranks well organically and drives visitors to your site, you need to understand the needs of those visitors, the language they use, and the type of content they are looking for.

One way to do this is by doing your own keyword research with a tool like Jaaxy.

What are long-tail keywords?

Singular keywords might appear to be your ultimate goal as they often have temptingly high search volume. However, they usually have extremely tough competition.

Long-tail keywords usually have more clearly defined intent. For example, “best organic dog food for a puppy,” or “inexpensive dog walkers Seattle.” You’ll also find that long-tail keywords have less competition, with room for a smaller site to break in and make their mark on the search engine results page (SERPs).

What is Jaaxy?

Jaaxy is an advanced keyword research tool with more features than most of the other keyword research tools that are available.

Jaaxy makes it easy to find keywords that, used naturally, will drive high volumes of traffic to your online business.

Remember, your content should be written for your readers, not the search engines, but including some low competition keywords in the right places will get you good rankings.

Jaaxy collects data from Google, Bing, and Yahoo to give you up-to-date data on your chosen keywords. It will show you:

  • The number of searches per month for a particular keyword / keyword phrase
  • The number of visits to your website you can expect if you get to the first page of Google for a keyword
  • How much competition there is for a particular keyword / keyword phrase
  • The quality of the keyword and a score that indicates how easy it will be to rank on page one of search engine results
  • Suggestions for other related keywords
  • Where you are ranking in the search engines for a keyword

So as you can see Jaaxy is a really complete tool and you will discover more about these features in this review.

Give it a try for free.  Simply perform a search below to see how Jaaxy works.

Who is Jaaxy For?

The Jaaxy keyword research tool is for niche website developers, bloggers, affiliate marketers, and anyone who is looking for a way to make money online and rank their content quickly. I even use it in my local web design business to help my local clients rank higher.

Although you get a lot of information with Jaaxy, it is easy to use and suitable for someone just starting out in an online business. And, it is chock-full of features that makes it a must-have tool for experienced internet marketers.

A Step-by-Step Guide of the Jaaxy Features

Getting good keywords that will rank high in search engines and drive traffic to your website is what Jaaxy is all about. You will discover which keywords get the most traffic and which ones you will rank for most easily.

If you look along the top menu in the screenshot below, you’ll see that Jaaxy offers a lot of features. I will walk you through them one-by-one. There is a lot to cover here, so this will be explained in more detail below.

#1 – Keyword Research

While it is chock-full of features Jaaxy, at its core, is a keyword tool.

And the data it mines for you is priceless. You can build a lucrative online business off of it.

Let me show you an example. Recently I had to search for the keyword “how to get a mouse off of a glue trap”. Yes, I did. Don’t judge me. 🙂

Take a look below to see what Jaaxy spit out and what it all means. I’ll walk through each of the items in the red box.

Avg – This is the average number of searches per month for this keyword.

Traffic– This is the average number of visitors you can expect to your site if you can rank on the first page.

QSR (Quoted Search Results)- this is the number of websites competing for this exact match keyword.

KQI (Keyword Quality Indicator)- Green=good; yellow=decent; Red= stay away.

SEO– This is the algorithmic score of opportunity for you. Higher=better.

Domains – This shows you what domains are available (if any) that match the keyword.

As you can see in the image above, the QSR number in this example is “0” which means that this is an awesome keyword and your chance of ranking on page one of the search engine results is all but inevitable.

#2 – Alphabet Soup

Have you ever noticed how, when you type into Google, it starts completing your sentence almost as if trying to guess what you want to see?

The Alphabet Soup feature is just like Google Suggest. This feature shows you suggested keywords based on their popularity. In the example below I typed in “how to make money from” and it automatically populated suggestions.

#3 – Saved Lists

Have you noticed from the screenshots above that, once you feed Jaaxy a target keyword, it spits out a monstrous amount of keywords to work with?

Too many to remember and too tiresome and impossible to jot down by hand. So, save them to a list.

I create a list for all of my content topics and when I find a good keyword with low competition, I save it to that list for a future article.

#4 – Search History

This is a great feature if you find a really great keyword with lots of traffic potential and low competition but, for some reason, forgot to save it to a saved list. Not to worry. In the Search History tab, you’ll find a history of all the keywords you searched.

There’s no way to lose any keyword.

#5 – Search Analysis

Before doing anything, you should look at the search engine results pages (SERP’s) for the particular keyword you are targeting. You want to see who you’re competing against and what you can do to stand out above the crowd.

By going to the “Search Analysis” tab, you’ll be able to see not only who exactly ranks on the first page, but also their:

  • Word count– this is crucial as content comprehensiveness is one of the largest ranking factors.
  • Links on the page– number of internal and external links.
  • Number of back links– too many and you know it’s going to be an uphill battle.
  • Alexa rank– a good gauge of site strength.
  • Adsense– Are they paying for ads? If yes, it’s a good sign- the keyword is lucrative.

#6 – SiteRank

This is a really cool feature that recently got added to Jaaxy and comes with all membership levels.

You should be tracking your rankings non-top. You want to see whether your SEO is working and whether you should stop what you’re doing… or kick it up a notch.

Jaaxy will track your target keywords for free. Jaaxy has a built-in rank tracking feature. It’ll scan the first 20 pages of Google and tell you where you stand. Way cool!

Note: you don’t have to track just your site. You can also spy on your competitors to see if they’re moving up in the rankings. If they are, check what they’re doing- then steal their tactic!

#7 Affiliate Program

Jaaxy also has a thriving affiliate program with thousands of affiliates. You can make money by promoting Jaaxy on your website.

There are all small business owners and online marketers who use Jaaxy, have results with it, believe in it as a product, and promote is wholeheartedly.

Yours truly is one of them. ????
